When we moved into our house in 2005, we discovered that one of the 14 steps leading to the 2nd floor was 1.5 inches too high.  We hired Wood Craft Indy to tear them out and correct the issue (people routinely tripped going up the steps).  The job they did was outstanding.  They ripped out the old steps and actually corrected a couple of other errors the original builders had made.  The finished job was beautiful!  It consisted of many handcrafted individual pieces that were masterfully constructed together.  We are glad that we hired them to do this job and would do so again!

Jerry made an outstanding. 3 section stand alone trellis with 8 foot sections. Made from cedar posts and 2×2 cedar rails and styles with hundreds of screws making for an extremely solid structure! The painted finish was outstanding with a unique finish to hide the screws. Great craftsmanship and a talented team to work with. A great pleasure all around!! – Tom V.

Jerry built a custom storage cabinet for our master bathroom countertop.  I had a vision and he made it happen!  Custom-mixed the stain to match and added custom trim to the cabinet to match.  Made our builder-grade bathroom vanity look custom.  I highly recommend Jerry’s quality work.  So rare to find someone that is willing to do the smaller jobs these days. – Julie W.

Jerry is the ultimate craftsman. He has been able to create beautiful works of art for our home from just a simple idea. We wanted a bar that held all liquor bottles, one that moved on wheels, had plenty of storage, and a butcher block top. It turned out better than I could have hoped. My husband and I are so pleased; It will be a piece to hand down to future generations. It was built to last and we will be able to enjoy it for years to come.

We have other items he made as well. Sliding doors with a modern twist that are our entry to the sunroom, an old hutch my mother gave me was turned into our entryway showpiece, a cherry table with my husbands favorite cigar labels for his office, a refinished park bench from my grandparents, and an antique side table. Jerry Ward is an outstanding craftsman and skilled designer. He has done several large products for our home over the years. His showcase project in our house is the staircase that begins in our entryway and extends to the second floor. He completely removed the existing staircase and designed a high quality wooden staircase and hand cut railings. It is the centerpiece of our home and the most beautiful wood installation we have seen. Jerry has also installed custom cabinetry in two of our bathrooms, to include a total renovation of the en suite bath. His custom work is artistry. – Amy R.
